On duty Warwickshire Police officer faces allegations of sexual assault

A WARWICKSHIRE Police officer is set to appear in court to face a charge of sexual assault which was alleged to have taken place while he was on duty.
The unnamed officer is due to appear at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court on Friday (19th January).
The force said the alleged incident occurred in May 2023 and added that the officer is currently suspended from duty pending the outcome of the case.
