New £800,000 village hall unveiled

A NEW £800,000 state-of-the-art village hall that has been paid for and built by the local community will last not just for today but serve generations to come.

To mark the new hall’s official opening last Friday people from Cherington, Stourton and Sutton-under-Brailes gathered at The Hall in Pinfold Lane, Stourton, to see the handover from two village elders, Janet Long and Arthur Cornish, to youngsters in the village to symbolise that the hall was open to serve the community.
