Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following Stratford collision

A motorcyclist has been airlifted to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire following a road traffic collision near Stratford today.

The collision, which occurred on Evesham Road near Dodwell just after 3.15pm, involved a motorbike and a car.

A man in his 40s is believed to have suffered pelvic and leg injuries in the incident.

The road has been closed and diversions are in place, but motorists are being advised to avoid the area.

Emergency services are currently at the scene and police say the incident is ongoing.
