Model enthusiasts flock to Oxhill

Event organiser Sean Brown, said: “It was a great turnout and we had some fantastic feedback. We had David Jason come on the Sunday and Mike Brewer did a brilliant job, he was down at the start line at the cars and worked so hard throughout, he was a superstar.

“I have a pilots’ licence and have flown Puma helicopters and the thing that appeals to me about model flying is that the models react in exactly the same way as the full size ones do in the air.

“Modelling is amazing because you can see something you have made yourself working in the air and that is something that is very satisfying.”

Sean says he is already looking forward to organising next year’s meet.
