McDonald’s drive-thru plan withdrawn

PLANS for a McDonald’s in the car park of Tesco in Warwick have been withdrawn, after drawing huge objections.

The Herald reported last week how 105 letters of objection had been sent to Warwick District Council, many of which cited increased traffic and the potential for anti-social behaviour, with just seven in support.

The fast food giant’s agents have indicated they will now draw up revised proposals.
