Man injured in Alcester assault





A VIOLENT attack left an Alcester resident with a broken nose and fingers, police have said.

Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which occurred on St Faiths’ Road in the town around 3.20am Sunday, 27th May.

The injured man had heard banging noises outside and believing his vehicles were being damaged he went out to investigate and came across two men who told him to ‘go away’ before assaulting him.

It’s unclear why the two offenders were outside at the vehicles.

No other information was available, including description of the offenders.
