Man dies following Stratford collision




A man has died following a two-vehicle collision in Stratford-upon-Avon town centre yesterday afternoon.

The collision occurred on Greenhill Street at around 1.35pm and involved a white Mini Cooper and a red Ford Fiesta.

The driver of the Mini, a man in his 80s, was taken to hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries but sadly died after arriving at hospital.

The man's wife, a woman in her 70s, was taken to hospital by land ambulance and was later discharged.

A woman in the other vehicle suffered a suspected fractured wrist in the collision whilst a female passenger in the car sustained cuts and bruises.
