Man charged following Stratford drugs warrant




A MAN has been charged with two offences of possession of class A drugs (Heroin and Crack Cocaine) with intent to supply after officers from Warwickshire Police executed a warrant in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Akeem Josiah Wright aged 19, of Clopton Road in Stratford, was charged with the offence yesterday (Thursday 31st March) and made an appearance at Warwickshire Justice Centre today (Friday 1st April). He has been remanded in custody until his next appearance at Warwickshire Justice Centre on Thursday 28th April.

Officers from the Safer Neighbourhood Team, and patrol officers executed the warrant, at the defendant's home address yesterday morning. During the search, a quantity of heroin and crack cocaine with an estimated street value of £870 - £1,460 was seized. Akeem was interviewed by proactive CID at Leamington.
