Man airlifted to hospital following road traffic collision in Stratford

The casualty was flown by the air ambulance to University Hospital Coventry and his injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing.

The 23-year-old driver of the car was uninjured in the incident.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The man who is in his fifties, was immobilised and given pain relief. “He was flown to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire which had been put on alert in anticipation of his arrival.”
