Madhatters with Escape Arts in Stratford

ALMOST £800 was raised from a Madhatters event for the Arts Intervention Project due to start this summer involving a whole range of characters played by the Phoenix Players and included live music by young musicians and members of the Escape Arts team, Shakespeare Hospice and local artists and musicians.

The Arts Intervention Project is a partnership project between Escape Arts and the Shakespeare Hospice. It will start in the summer of 2016, will offer a creative outlet to children and young people who need support due to bereavement, mental ill health or through being a young carer. Activities will be designed to help young people express and explore emotions and difficulties they might be experiencing in their lives. The project will help young people to communicate and express their feelings, in addition to gaining new skills and creative abilities. Photo: Phil Williams.
