REMEMBRANCE Day parades and services were held in Stratford-upon-Avon and district on Sunday as people paused to reflect and respect those who had given their lives in combat.

The First and Second World War fallen as well as those who have lost their lives in more recent conflicts were remembered in tributes which included military parades and moments of private prayer.

A round-up of events to mark Sunday's Remembrance Services appears in this Thursday's edition of the Herald. Here is a a selection of photographs of civic dignitaries and local people including veterans who attended Stratford's annual service.
