Kineton residents vote in favour of neighbourhood plan

Kineton’s Neighbourhood Plan is set to be formally adopted after village residents voted in favour of the document yesterday.
The referendum asked the question: “Do you want Stratford-on-Avon District Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Kineton to help decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?.”
Of the total 858 votes cast 773 (90.90%) voted in favour of yes while 85 (9.91%) voted no.
Overall turnout was 46.08% and the neighbourhood plan will now be adopted.
