Kineton Greenhills grocery burgled




THE Greenhills grocery store of Kineton was burgled early Tuesday morning.

Warwickshire Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at approximately 3am in the early hours of Tuesday 20 March 2018 at Greenhills Store, Banbury Street, Kineton. The burglary led to a temporary closure of the store, but it reopened by 1pm Tuesday.

Early reports show three people used crowbars to smash the large front window of the store. Upon entering the store an unknown quantity of cigarettes was taken. The offenders made off at speed in a vehicle and motorbike towards Wellesbourne.

Bart Dalla Mura, the owner of the store, said: “Almost all my cigarettes are gone.”

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them at 101 quoting incident 19 of 20 March 2018.
