Jewellery stolen from homes

WARWICKSHIRE police are appealing for information to help solve two burglaries in which a haul of jewellery was stolen.

Between 4pm and 5pm on Friday 24 August offenders smashed the window in the rear patio of a house in Bearley Road, Aston Cantlow and stole a quantity of jewellery.

It is believed the offenders may have been in a White Audi A3 with a registration number ending in 'ZVW'. This Audi A3 was also seen in suspicious circumstances in Lowsonford.

Information can be passed on to the police by calling 101, quoting crime reference number 0346 24/08/2018.

The following day offenders accessed the rear of the property in Dorsington by using a spade from a nearby secure shed to smash a ground floor window.

They have tried to use the spade to lever open a door first but this was unsuccessful. The property was searched and a substantial amount of jewellery and cash was stolen, along with other items.

It is believed the offenders arrived and left in a white vehicle, possibly SUV size, between 11.15am and 6.16pm on Saturday, 25August.
