Chris Rowles, one of the market's organisers, said: “The May Market was extremely well supported by villagers and visitors coming to see what's for sale and to watch the Adderbury Morris and the children of Kineton Primary School perform.”
Some 18 stalls sold cheese, locally reared lamb, beef and pork, artisan bread, pies and quiches, apple juice and cider, freshly made cakes, locally produced ice cream, hand roasted coffee, honey, chutneys and jams, handmade dog biscuits, plants and planters, leather items and saddlery, artisan pottery and crafts plus the crowds were kept entertained by Donald's folk music.
Mr Rowles added: “The market brings together new and old residents helping welcome those who have recently moved to the village.”
Support from the Kineton Parish Council, the residents of Market Square, St Peters Church and Kineton Sports and Social Club also helps make the Farmer’s Market happen.
