Have your say on life in Warwickshire
A new survey to help shape the future of public services in Warwickshire has been launched by the County Council.
The survey is an opportunity for Warwickshire residents to have their say on what living in Warwickshire is really like and will cover topics such as health and wellbeing, community safety and transport.
Results from the survey will highlight key issues experienced by people on a day-to-day basis, including information on how they live, their needs and challenges.
This will inform council work programmes to address these local needs and shape services for the future.
The survey can be completed online only and all respondents must be aged over 18 years old.
Those completing the survey will be entered into a prize draw to win an annual family pass (for up to four people) to Warwick Castle, while a further 10 pairs of tickets to the attraction will be awarded.
On completion of the survey, residents will be signposted to a variety of services which are available to provide help and support within their local area. They will also have the opportunity to participate in focus groups to provide further detail and understanding.
Cllr Les Caborn, Warwickshire County Council’s Portfolio Holder for Health, said: “The survey will go a long way in helping us better understand differences in how people live their lives across the county and how they both access and use local public services. This will be the biggest survey of its kind for a number of years in Warwickshire and the results will help Warwickshire County Council to shape future priorities and policies."
Cllr Maggie O’Rourke, the County Council’s Chair of the Adults, Health and Social Care Overview and Scrutiny Committee, said: “This research enables us to draw comparisons from previous surveys in order to monitor trends along with changes in people’s views on local issues.”
The survey will close on Tuesday 31st May. To complete the survey, visit: warwickshire.gov.uk/survey
