LOCAL health leaders are encouraging the public to attend their next Have Your Say Day. The sessions are being organised by NHS South Warwickshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will be held on September 6 and give the public a chance to ‘have your say’ on healthcare services in the area.

At these interactive events the CCG wants to hear your views, opinions and experiences of the health and care system to help make improvements and get a real understanding of how people feel about health and care services.

Representatives from local health commissioners NHS South Warwickshire CCG, Public Health Warwickshire and Warwickshire County Council will be explaining how the health and care system works and encouraging interactive discussions and activities to get invaluable feedback.

At these sessions the CCG wants to get your views on:

  • How health and social care services can work better together
  • What support you need from health and social care services to help you look after the health of yourself and your family

There will be two events taking place:

12.30pm to 3.30pm at the Graham Adams Centre, St James Road, Southam, Warwickshire, CV47 0LY. Refreshments will be provided

6pm – 9pm at Southam College, Welsh Road West, Southam, Warwickshire, CV47 0JW. Refreshments will be provided.

Dr David Spraggett, GP and Chair of NHS South Warwickshire CCG said: “This is the fourth event we have held and I would encourage as many people to attend. These sessions help the CCG get a real understanding into what the challenges are that face the local population and how, as commissioners, we can ensure that the services we commission meets those needs.

“In the past we have reviewed the feedback received and made changes to a number of initiatives as a direct result of the conversations we have had with the public. We see these as invaluable and look forward to the event in September.”

For catering purposes, please contact the CCG if you are attending by emailing communications@ardengemcsu.nhs.uk, or calling 01926 353810 and stating which session you are coming to.
