Have your say on Birmingham Road gridlock
Last Friday saw the launch of the public consultation process which offered the public a series of proposals to help ease congestion on Birmingham Road (pictured). The events today and Saturday are part of that ongoing consultation.
One of the proposals considers the possible conversion of a two lane section into Stratford on the Birmingham Road – inbound – from St Peter’s Way to Joseph Way, this section is currently the two lane section heading out of town.
There’s also possible provision for a new slip road from Birmingham Road into Tesco, inbound direction, which would help ease the heavy congestion already experienced at the site.
Feedback forms are available at the consultation events or can be accessed on line at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/birminghamroadstratford
The exhibition boards will also be on display at Stratford Library from Tuesday 2nd February until Monday 7th March. The closing date for responses is Monday 7th March.
Full story of last Friday’s launch of the public consultation into Birmingham Road appears in this week’s edition of the Herald.
