Friends hope we’re feeling the love for fundraiser

For £2.50 visitors can enjoy a coffee and a cake, with the collection buckets out for any further donations. Goodie bags filled with those unwanted Christmas gifts will also be sold for just £2.50 each.
Last year, the event raised £400.
“The money went straight to help local people with learning disabilities, funding activities which make a real difference to their lives,” said Karen.
“We hope to match that figure, or perhaps even beat it, this year.”
The Friends of Heart of England Mencap was formed at the start of 2014 to fundraise for the Stratford-based charity, which supports individuals with learning disabilities across Warwickshire and Worcestershire.
