FOUR WAYS TO WIN: with our Countdown to Easter. . .




THE countdown to Easter has begun – and to celebrate The Herald is running a series of competitions that inspire family fun over the holidays.

WEEK 1: (March 15th) Family pass for West Midland Safari Park in Bewdley.

STAFF at the popular attraction are preparing for their best year yet, as the attraction prepares to celebrate its 45th anniversary and the opening of their brand new prehistoric exhibit, Ice Age.

Continuing the journey from The Land of the Living Dinosaurs exhibit, the £1million project will feature a huge volcano, ice cave and ferocious, life-sized animals, taking guests on an interactive exploration through time. Adventurers will be able to walk amongst a gigantic woolly mammoth, a fierce smilodon and an enormous paraceratherium, to name just a few.

WEEK 2: (March 22nd) Free admission to Shakespeare's properties plus food and goodies.

A selection of the most mysterious creatures in the world’s oceans are to star in a brand new permanent exhibition at the National Sea Life Centre, opening this Easter.

Months in the making, the new ‘Jelly Invaders’ exhibit will star five different jellyfish species from across the world, from the bizarre freshwater ‘upside down jellyfish’ to the glittering ‘sea nettle’ variety from the Indo-Pacific.

The new experience will allow visitors to get a close encounter to these mystical creatures, with diverse species of jellies in a variety of colourful interactive displays.
