Former nightclub demolition begins

IT was once the centre of live music and entertainment in Stratford but this week the demolition of the Green Dragon pub in Greenhill Street began.
In its latter years it was Maison nightclub which closed in October 2014, prior to that it enjoyed stints as Bar M and Bureau but it was as a live music venue, featuring local bands, that The Green Dragon will be most fondly remembered.
It’s thought the site will be converted to residential use.
