Food festivals hailed a huge success

Ruth Wood, events manager at Stratforward, which organised Stratford's festival, said: “I am absolutely delighted with how it went. We had fantastic support from the town centre businesses involved, who were also delighted."

In Shipston, around 4,000 people sampled what the town's food and drink producers had to offer.

Festival organiser, Dan Scobie, said: “The whole festival went very, very well, it was our most successful to date. All the feedback we got from the stall holders was very positive and it was very busy throughout the day."
