Five arrested after 'savage' Boxing Day attack

At around 11pm on Saturday, 26th December, at the Spice Hut restaurant in Market Square, Warwick, there was a disagreement between two groups of men in the restaurant, which resulted in the physical altercation, police said.

Detective Inspector Jon Belcher said: "This man has been left with life-changing injuries, in what was a savage and unprovoked attack.

"We are keen to hear from anyone near the restaurant or in Market Square who can help our investigation in any way."

Anyone with any information who has not yet come forward, is asked to contact DC 854 Karen Rook on 101, quoting incident 333 of 26 December, or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
