Driver and passenger injured in M40 crash

A DRIVER suffered a broken arm after a motorway crash between a car and a lorry on the M40 in south Warwickshire on Friday night. The collision on the northbound section of the motorway happened between junctions 12 at Gaydon and 13 for Bishop’s Tachbrook.

Two men inside a Mercedes car were treated by paramedics at the scene and the driver was taken to taken to Warwick Hospital with a broken arm, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.

A spokesperson said the passenger in the car suffered neck, chest, back and leg injuries and was taken to Walsgrave Hospital.
