Double decker bus fire in Barford

Flames engulfed a double decker bus in Barford yesterday morning (Monday) prompting a co-ordinated response from the emergency services.

No-one was injured in the blaze, which occurred just after 10am on Wellesbourne Road.

Two fire engines from Leamington and Wellesbourne were sent to the scene, with firefighters battling the flames for around an hour.

The police attended the scene to assist with road closures and the Environment Agency also attended.
