Crews battle field fire near Mappleborough Green

Fire crews from Stratford, Bidford and Alcester battled a large field fire near Mappleborough Green yesterday.
The blaze, across three fields next to the A435, was reported to the emergency services at 1.30pm and crews used small gear, hose reels and beaters to extinguish the fire.
The fields were described as well alight when fire crews arrived and what caused it is still unknown.
