Community groups are Lottery winners
COMMUNITY groups across Warwickshire have shared £180,000 from the latest round of grants from the National Lottery.
Among the 23 winners are eight organisations in the Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick area who have banked £10,000 and £600 between them.
The biggest winner was the Forest of Hearts which is a project that aims to create an accessible and sustainable forest garden for educational and community engagement.
The 2nd Warwick Sea Scouts have been given over £9,900 to renovate the jetties as part of their £650,000 plans to build a new headquarters in St Nicholas’ Park.
Lapworth Parish Council gets £10,000 to help refurbish the village play area to help improve health and wellbeing.
