A CHRISTMAS Tree Festival takes place at the United Reformed Church on Rother Street in Stratford on Friday, and Saturday (16th and 17th December).

Among the exhibits will be several trees made by Herald staff out of copies of the Herald and our sister newspaper, the Midweek Herald. There will also be a display by the Heart of England Wood Turners.

The church will be open between 9.30am and 3pm on both days, with coffee and biscuits served throughout.

Carols by Candlelight takes place at the same church on Sunday, 18th December, from 6.30pm.

There will be a Service of Nine Lessons and cCarols followed by coffee and mince pies. All welcome.
