Charity head shave for hospital

JANE Pattinson has raised £1,217 by shaving her head in support of the Cancer Unit at Warwick Hospital.

Following the support and care she received from the Aylesford Unit over the last three years, Jane decided to donate the money to the unit in order to give others the opportunity to receive the quality of care and support she has received during her time at the unit.

Sarah Lissaman, the Aylesford Unit co-ordinator praised the gesture: “Jane’s donation will help to make a real difference to the unit and we are very grateful for her support. Her bravery is also such an inspiration to all of us, particularly other patients, as she has shown motivation and resilience despite her condition.”
