Butterfly Farm gets a brand new look

STRATFORD Butterfly Farm has several reasons to be celebrating. The popular attraction will not only be unveiling its brand new look today, Friday, since undergoing a major refurbishment programme but has been awarded the 2016 TripAdvisor 'Certificate of Excellence' for the fifth year running.

The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor. Businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five, volume and regularity of reviews. Additional criteria include a business’ tenure and popularity ranking on the site.

At a special opening ceremony on 22nd July, the Butterfly Farm will reveal its exciting new look and introduce the 'Maya', an ancient rainforest civilisation exhibit.

The celebrations will continue over the 23rd and 24th July to the general public with mini-beast handling sessions, demonstrations in the discovery zone, a competition to win season tickets and an interactive book on the Maya.
