Birthplace Trust launches garden photography competition
A garden photography competition has been launched by the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust this summer.
Visitors are being invited to share their photos of the gardens of Shakespeare’s family homes to be in with a chance of winning a range of top prizes.
Goodies up for grabs include an Arena Pro tripod, a family pass to Shakespeare’s family homes worth £140 and a signed copy of Jackie Bennett’s book ‘Shakespeare’s Gardens’.
Visitors can email their photographs to competitions@shakespeare.org.uk or share them on Twitter using the hashtag #shakespearesgardens.
The competition closes on 30 September and will be judged by Shakespeare Birthplace Trust’s Head of Gardens Glyn Jones, and world-renowned gardens photographer Andrew Lawson.
Shortlisted entries will be displayed at one of Shakespeare’s family homes and online at www.shakespeare.org.uk
