Big cat on the prowl near Alcester?

A BIG cat may have been seen in Great Alne, near Alcester last weekend.
The animal has been described to police as having leopard type markings and was spotted in a field off Nightingale Close, Great Alne at 8.20am on Saturday 8th October.
In terms of size the animal was said to be larger than a fox. The sighting was reported to Alcester Police South Safer Neighbourhood Team.
It’s not the first time so called big cats have been seen in Warwickshire and the West Midlands. A panther in Coventry was alleged to have been spotted at Ryton Pools Country Park in 2012.
