Baby boy dies in Warwick




Police are treating the death of a baby boy in Warwick last night as unexplained.

A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police said: “Emergency services were called to an address in Heathcote, Warwick, at approximately 22.50pm last night (Thursday 27 October) following a report that a baby at the property was not breathing.

"The baby boy was taken to Warwick Hospital by the ambulance service where he was sadly pronounced deceased shortly after 11:45pm.

"As in all cases where there is a sudden death of a child, officers are working with the health authorities to establish the circumstances. The death is not thought to be suspicious at this time and is currently being treated as unexplained."
