Plans to demolish Stratford-upon-Avon's B&Q store at the Maybird Shopping Centre and replace it with three new retail units, have been submitted to Stratford District Council.
The Capital Hill Partnership, which owns the Maybird Shopping Centre, argue that the work is needed to bring that section of the Maybird Centre up to the same appearance and standards as the rest of the retail park.
The application states that the redevelopment is being proposed to create better yielding retail units that would more accurately suit the requirements of prospective tenants in the current market.
