Audio trail launched at Welcombe Hills

A NEW audio trail for walkers was launched at Welcome Hills and Clopton Park Nature Reserve on Saturday.

The ten track audio trail has been created through a programme of youth-led workshops run by the Playbox theatre and Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and has been funded by the Heritage Lottery.

The trail takes listeners on a journey through ten historical topics that relate to the site and brand new interpretation boards, funded by Stratford District Council will also be unveiled.

During the day performances from Playbox theatre’s ‘Shakespeare Young Company’ and demonstrations on how to use the smartphones to access the audio trail were given.
