ARAJ Seelanatha (pictured) is known to have been at his home, on Tuesday 2nd August at approximately 9.30am. He left his home which is in the Trinity Mead area of the town at some point after this. It is not known when he left the house.

Araj is of Sri Lankan origin and is described as olive/dark skinned, 5'10" tall and of slim build. He has short black hair and is clean shaven with white patches around his mouth caused by the skin condition vitiligo. He was last seen wearing a grey wind-proof top, chino trousers and brown footwear.

The photograph featured was taken around ten years ago; Araj's hair has thinned but he is not described as looking significantly different.

PC Deborah Young said: "We are growing increasingly concerned for Araj's welfare and are working to locate him as quickly as possible. He is a vulnerable individual and his disappearance is very out of character. We would urge anyone with any information to contact Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident reference number 362 of Tuesday 3 August."

A police helicopter spotted in the sky above Stratford town centre Wednesday lunchtime was assisting the search for Mr Seelanatha.
