Apartments planned at golf club site

PLANS to build 24 apartments on land at Henley-in-Arden Golf Club have been revealed this week.
The application details the construction of four buildings, each containing six apartments, each with two bedrooms and with either balconies or private patio areas.
Each will also have two car parking spaces.
The apartments are being proposed as an alternative to an approved scheme to build a 72-bedroom hotel in the grounds of the club, which was granted planning permission in 2007.
The Beaudesert and Henley Joint Parish Council will decide at its meeting on Monday whether to support the plan or not.
A decision is expected to be made in October.
