POLICE are warning motorists and householders to be extra vigilant and tighten personal security measures after a spate of thefts from vehicles in the Alcester area on Thursday morning.
Work vans have been mainly targeted for tools but sheds and outbuildings have also been broken into.
The locations that thieves have targeted include Alcester, Oversley Green, Broom, Dunnington, Bidford, Arrow and Ardens Grafton.
The offences occurred overnight but police are keen to make the public aware that thefts have taken place and everyone should be more security conscious particularly in warm weather when doors and windows are left open.
