Alcester fracas leaves man with head injuries




Police are appealing for witnesses after a disturbance in St Nicholas Close, Alcester, left one man seriously injured.

Detectives from Warwickshire Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident which happened at around 7.45pm yesterday (Friday) and is believed to have involved several men and a woman. No arrests have been made.

A man in his 30s was injured as a result and has been taken to hospital for treatment for a head injury which is not believed to be life threatening.

Detective Inspector Tim Sharp said: "Officers are carrying out enquiries in the area and would appeal to anyone who witnessed the disturbance and or has any information which could help, to contact police on 101 quoting incident reference 357 of 9th February."
