A weekend of fun in Wellesbourne

THE ever popular Wellesbourne Summer Street Fayre takes place on Saturday with a children’s parade and 45 stalls including a special guest from Shah’s Indian restaurant.

The fayre lasts from 12.30 to 4pm Saturday 9th June on Church Street, Wellesbourne with a variety of craft stalls, hog roast barbecue, ice cream, cake stalls, and a prosecco van.

The street fayre also offers a variety of children’s activities from pony rides, to a climbing wall, bouncy castles and nurf gun target practice. The event also includes a raffle with prizes ranging from £100 cash, to 3-month membership to Wellesbourne gym and a family pass to Compton Verney among others.

Also on Saturday there’s a blacksmith and woodturners’ demonstration at Chedham’s Yard, Church Walk, Wellesbourne from 11am to 3pm. Entry is free.
