Wellesbourne woman named the best beauty therapist in region

A WELLESBOURNE woman has been named the best beauty therapist in the West Midlands

Anita Swetman, pictured, who scooped gold in the regional finals of this year’s British Hair and Beauty Awards, specialises in lava shell massage. A type of heat treatment, it uses tiger clam shells from the Philippines to give body and face massages.

Chosen as a ‘lava angel’, Ms Swetman became part of a top team who gave lava shell massages to celebrities, and she also spent four years as a therapist at top health spa Ragdale Hall.
