Tradesman is biscuit dunking champion!
TRADESMAN Anthony Richards has been crowned champion in a biscuit dunking competition held at timber and builder’s merchant Travis Perkins' store in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Entrants were invited to hold their nerve and dunk a giant biscuit against the clock for as long as possible before breaking.
The winning dunk, which was held for an impressive two minutes and 43 seconds, took the biscuit and earned Anthony £50 of Love2Shop vouchers.
Anthony, who works for M V Kelly Ltd, said: “The competition provided the perfect break from my usual Monday morning at work.
"It’s not every day you pop into a builder’s merchant and get invited to dunk a giant biscuit for as long as possible, but it was great fun and I’m pleased to have won.”
Matt Lewis, Travis Perkins' Stratford-upon-Avon assistant branch manager, added: "It was fantastic to see both local trade and homeowners so enthusiastic to achieve the longest dunk.”
The competition was run by timber windows, doors and stairs manufacturer JELD-WEN.
