STRATFORD-upon-Avon-based DCS Group is moving part of its business to Banbury.

The sales and distribution arms of the company run by Denys Shortt OBE will move into a vacant 'Hella' building just off the M40 in Noral Way, Banbury. It was previously owned by Prodrive.

All 229 existing members of staff will be given the option of relocating, while further jobs will be created following the move.

Mr Shortt said DCS Manufacturing and Enable Software, which are both part of the DCS Group, will continue to operate from state-of-the-art facilities in Timothy's Bridge Road, Stratford.

The company currently employs around 300 in total.
