THE public relations campaign to launch the £1.4million Shakespeare’s Schoolroom and Guildhall in Stratford-upon-Avon has been recognised with a Gold award from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations North West for the Best Arts, Culture or Sport Campaign 2016.
The judges noted that the campaign carried out by Manchester-based Fido PR had firmly placed the historic site on the global cultural stage, thanks to a comprehensive campaign that used social media, press, community engagement and storytelling effectively.
The hard work and creativity contributed to 1,500 visitors queuing to visit Stratford’s newest attraction on its opening day on 23rd April,2016 — the 400th anniversary of the Bard’s death.
