On scent of success in new venture

Bee & Wild has taken over the premises from another florists called Flora’s and will retain two members of staff from the previous business in addition to Heidi and Leanne.

Leanne, who has previous experience as a florist, said: “It is just an amazing town and people are proud to shop locally, it’s always been our dream to be part of that.

“Everything we sell is from local suppliers and that is very important to us. We are very welcoming and we don’t necessarily just want people to just come in and buy their flowers, we’ve made the shop very welcoming and friendly and we enjoy having a chat with people too.”

Heidi added: “Flowers are used at most events either happy or sad and we’re happy to help people at these times.

“We’d been thinking of doing this for a while and were just looking for the right opportunity and when this shop came up we jumped at the chance.”
