New vets take the lead at Avonvale surgeries

THREE new vets have joined the ranks of Avonvale Veterinary Centres.

South African Lara Vetten has just completed her Certificate in Medicine and is an RCVS advanced practitioner, Gemma Lawton has a special interest in surgery, dentistry and feline medicine, and Daisy Newey has a special interest in surgery and acupuncture.

Daisy, who has previously worked for Avonvale, will be based at the surgery in Stratford, while Lara and Gemma will be based in Warwick.

Kate Webb, Avonvale’s new practice manager, said: “Our three new vets bring a broad range of specialist expertise and interests to the Avonvale group, skills that can be called upon by our surgeries in Warwick, Southam, Kenilworth, Wellesbourne and Stratford.”F
