New HR franchise opens in Stratford

A NEW human resources franchise has opened in Stratford.

Amanda Lillis has taken on The HR Dept Stratford and Evesham after a working in HR for both small and large firms for nearly 20 years.

She said: “There’s so much for business owners to think about at the moment, whether it’s supporting their staff through economic hardship, managing performance when times get tough, or retaining employees looking for a better offer.

“All that’s alongside keeping the business going during incredibly challenging times. So we’re finding that human resources advice and support, helping company owners support their staff and get the most out of them, is really welcome.”

Amanda started her career at Honda’s UK manufacturing headquarters in Swindon, before moving to Walsall and Wrexham where she worked for recruitment firms.

However, Amanda wanted to work in Stratford where her partner Simon has lived all his life and currently works as a watch commander in the fire service.

“I’ve always loved Stratford and it feels like fate to have met Simon and settled down here together,” she said. “Now I’m here, I can’t wait to play my part in helping the town, and Evesham and the surrounding area, to really thrive.

“It’s exciting to be running my own company. I’ve got the drive to succeed and really good professional values, so I’m looking forward to getting started.”

The HR Dept will operate from Stratford, but will also cover Evesham, Alcester and Tewksbury.
