A PLANNING application has been submitted for the refurbishment and extension of St Nicholas’ Park Leisure Centre in Warwick.

Warwick District Council has been working for several months on the plan to refurbish the 25-metre pool, toddler pool, multi-use studio, fitness suite, foyer area and sports hall.

There will also be all new wet and dry change facilities, a spin studio, two multi-use studios, and a bigger fitness suite.

A date for councillors to discuss the plans has yet to be set.

The council is spending £12million on revamping St Nicholas' Park Leisure Centre and Newbold Comyn Leisure Centre in Leamington.
