Law firm partner takes industry role

Andrew Smith joined Shakespeare Martineau, which employs 120 people in its Stratford-on-Avon office, in 2009 and has been a board member of Coventry and Warwickshire First since 2011.

And he has put talent development and a clear voice for the region’s professionals at the top of his agenda.

“One of the real challenges facing professional services firms in Coventry and Warwickshire is attracting, retaining and developing great talent,” said Mr Smith.

“I intend to work with our Young Professionals to build on the success of our mentoring programme and develop our young talent further.”
