Josy builds career at Lodders
THE Stratford-upon-Avon-based real estate team of law firm Lodders has appointed Josy Haigh to a new role.
She will work alongside partner James Mottram, who is a specialist in residential development who is well-known amongst the UK’s major housebuilders and acts on large residential development deals.
Josy, who lives in Warwick, has previously worked for Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and Coventry City Council.
She is the third fee earner to join the Real Estate team this year.
Lodders appointed Ravinder Heer and Scott Parmenter as Paralegals in February, working with Partners Alastair Frew and Steven Baker respectively.
The 18-strong real estate team acts on behalf of national and regional commercial property developers, investment companies and funders, and last month advised on one of the biggest industrial investment property deals so far this year.
Clients include CALA Homes and Spitfire Properties LLP, both with housing plans in Stratford.
Commenting on Josy’s appointment, Mr Mottram said: “The team has had an exceptionally busy start to 2016, and Josy joins as instructions continue to grow, with the number and scale of new developments taking a noticeable upturn.”
